When Alex Lewis, 34, from Essex, learned that his wife Charlotte, 32, was expecting triplets, he was taken aback. The couple had been trying to conceive for three years and had invested £8,000 in IVF treatment in the hope of realizing their dream of becoming parents. Despite being thrilled about the prospect of having children, doctors cautioned them that not all of the triplets might survive. Faced with the difficult decision, Charlotte and Alex opted not to selectively reduce the number of embryos in favor of the healthiest option.

Additionally, the family makes it a point to engage in various activities together, including drinking Costa coffee, visiting the beach, shopping, having dinner as a family, and even taking trips to Center Parcs.
Alex emphasizes the importance of demonstrating to other parents that having multiple children doesn’t mean being confined to the home; instead, they can still enjoy outings and adventures. Reflecting on the overwhelming experience of their arrival, Alex acknowledges the weeks spent caring for their daughters as worthwhile. They never imagined they would be so fortunate to have all three, prompting them to quickly upgrade their car to accommodate their growing family.
