The images of tiny newborn babies lying in the palm of your hand will surely surprise you and fill you with love. Have you ever seen pictures of newborn babies smaller than a woman’s hand? Surely, when you see them, you’ll be amazed at how incredibly cute they are. Then, you might worry again, how can newborn babies stay alive when they are so small?
However, rest assured, the world’s smallest newborn baby weighs only 2 ounces, and his feet are as big as an adult’s finger. So, the images you see below are actually the wonderful works of a Canadian female sculptor named Camille Allen. With her talent and meticulousness, Camille Allen has created a perfect and vibrant collection of baby sculptures made of almond flour and egg whites. From the wrinkles to the lines on the baby’s arms and legs, and even the facial expressions, all make viewers feel surprisingly real.
Camille Allen shared that she learned this doll-making profession from her husband’s grandmother more than 8 years ago. Initially, she made larger sizes, but after a year, she became more proficient and began carving smaller figures. To create these lifelike newborn dolls, Camille had to use special tools to be able to craft the smallest details, from fingerprints and toe prints to wrinkles.
